Are you ready to run? Everything you need to know to enjoy BRF!
Hello, runner!
We know that you are preparing intensively for the Brasov Running Festival and you are looking forward to running on one of the fastest routes in the world, alongside the world's most important athletes.
So that everything goes perfectly, here is some information that will help you quickly navigate and enjoy a real show!
Location of the competition
- If you are attending the Brasov Running Festival for the first time, it is important to know that the event takes place in the Coresi neighborhood (formerly Tractorul), more specifically on Camil Petrescu Street (here are all the starts and arrivals). You will find route maps displayed in several places to pinpoint the exact starting and arrival points. These are properly marked and our volunteers will be able to guide you whenever you need them.
- To get to the site from the train station, you have a maximum of 15 minutes walking in a straight line, crossing the Tractor Park.
- If you come by car, you have many parking spaces available on Zaharia Stancu Street (Coresi Shopping Resort parking mall), just a 10-minute walk away, and in the Tractorul Park area, on Turului Street.
- It is essential to arrive early! We want to see you full of energy, supported from the sidelines by friends and family, in the fanciest clothes or in the latest running gear! We strongly suggest that you pay attention to the runners around you when you run and try not to interfere with anyone's evolution along the way.
Lifting Kits
- You can pick them up from forex parking, at the end of Camil Petrescu Street, intersection with Str. 13 December, as follows:
- For samples of Saturday 21 September 2024, validating competitors and picking up kits will be done on Fridays, between hours 9:30 a.m. — 7:00 p.m..
!! After this hour, no other runners will be able to qualify or register.
- For samples of Sunday 22 September 2024, validating competitors and picking up kits will be done on Fridays and Saturdays, between hours 9:30 a.m. — 7:00 p.m..
!! After this hour they will no longer be able to validate and no other runners will be able to enter either.
***Exceptions are runners registered for the open 10K race, who are not from the locality. They will be able to pick up their kit and Sunday morning between hours 8 a.m. - 10 a.m..
BIB/Race Numbers
- All participants must wear their official race number.
- Please wear the number on the front of the shirt from start to finish to be recognized as an official participant and to be able to send you photos later. If you do not find the Get Pica QR codes pasted on the contest number, please do so yourself (they will be in the kit).
- The race numbers of participants are specific personal identifiers and cannot be exchanged or transferred, given or sold to any other person. The sale and/or transfer of race registrations/numbers is strictly prohibited. Electronic timer chips are also glued to them. It is essential to finish the race with them on the carrier!
Storage
We provide storage for personal items during the race, but please note that we do not store carts, large bags, bicycles, rollers, etc. We can take care of personal items such as sweaters, hats, shoes and other clothes. We do not take responsibility for valuables (phones, laptops, jewelry, etc.). The wardrobe service is provided by volunteers.
Travel within the festival
- Please use only pedestrian crossings to cross from one side of the road to another in specially marked areas and where the competition space is not bounded by fences or a lane.
- Do not enter the competition route when assisting in the contest! Even if you are a parent, encourage your child from the sidelines, not from the roadway!
